Located just minutes from the entrance to Los Sueños Resort, Altos de Montserrat offers a peaceful residential feel with quick access to the best of Herradura. Whether you’re planning a day of deep-sea fishing, exploring waterfalls, or enjoying a sunset dinner at the Marina, everything is close by. You can visit the Marina Village for boutique shopping and excellent dining options, or book a boat charter to explore the Pacific coast. The La Iguana Golf Course is also open to outside guests with reservations. For a more relaxed day, enjoy the pools on-site or take a short drive to Playa Herradura.

Waking up here felt like a dream — the sound of the waves, the soft morning light, and the fresh ocean breeze made every sunrise magical. The view from the property is absolutely breathtaking, and it’s even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed — perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee while watching the ocean. Melissa was incredibly kind and responsive, making sure everything was perfect for my stay. If you’re looking for peace, connection with nature, and a touch of luxury by the ocean, this place is pure magic. I left feeling recharged, inspired, and already planning to return.

Melissa’s place was absolutely amazing! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning, views I’ll never forget waking up to such beautiful scenery every morning. The place was spotless, cozy, and well equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Amazing place. Everything was pristine in cleanliness. The view of the ocean and surrounding area was absolutely stunning. The pools were awesome. The main pool was absolutely huge. The area was very quite and peaceful. We really enjoyed the nearby beach of Playa Herradura. Although the water is not super blue, the beach was way more of the Costa Rican jungle vibe than Jaco or Manuel Antonio. You can pull your car right up to the beach and park. We had no concerns of rip currents. Melissa's place was about a 3 minute drive from the beach. We were a group of 3 adults and 3 kids, 4 and under. I highly recommend the place and will consider the location again for sure.

The community, the social areas and the unit are very beautiful, spacious and clean. We had a wonderful family stay, and we like the Herradura area as it has everything you could possibly need very near. The beach is very near also, but the distance from the entrance of the complex to the unit building is a little far, maybe a mile, so take that into account if you are planning to walk. We actually only can use the car to mobilize always, so it wasn't an issue for us, it took 2 or 3 minutes to get to beach. In general we like it and will consider renting it again.

Find us

The apartment includes a reserved covered parking spot, with additional guest parking available. While Altos is not inside Los Sueños, everything is just a few minutes away by car. We recommend renting a vehicle or golf cart for added convenience. Let us know—our concierge can have it ready and waiting for you.
